"The Tandem® SKIDS® volleyball knee pads offer a flexible construction that allows for a full range of motion while maintaining reliable shock absorption. A strap prevents the pad from sliding down the knee and an extra pad is placed below the main pad to protect the Tibial Tuberosity (the bump just below the kneecap). The lining is constructed from an ultra-thin, ultra-durable Supplex/Lycra® spandex blend."
